Nippon Columbia sub-label that became a hotbed for Tokyo's experimental electronic scene in the early '80s. Released Shimizu's Kakashi, both Mkwaju Ensemble albums, and connected to the broader kankyō ongaku ecosystem through Hosono's ties. Producers had early access to Roland and Yamaha hardware, and you can hear it — everything on Better Days sounds expensive and slightly alien.
