Killdozer

1983–1996·Madison, WI

Madison, Wisconsin trio fronted by Michael Gerald's world-weary baritone. Touch and Go's longest-running underappreciated asset. Wrote songs about truck stops, factory closures, and cheap beer that turned out to be some of the most specifically American lyrics any noise rock band ever produced. Twelve Point Buck and For Ladies Only are the ones.

Michael Gerald
bassvocals

Killdozer's frontman. Writes and sings in a Midwestern baritone about the most specifically American subjects possible — working-class resentment, cheap beer, bad decisions. A generational lyricist who happens to also be loud.
