Quentin Dupieux's electronic alter ego. Lo-fi riffs, synthetic distortion, total surrealist madness. "Flat Beat" went #1 across Europe in '99 thanks to a yellow puppet named Flat Eric and nobody could explain why and that's the whole point. F Communications first, then Ed Banger. Also makes films (Rubber, Wrong, Mandibles) that are just as weird as the music. The name means 'bird' in mangled French.
